Pdub

On Tuesday night I was finishing the newsletter for the Children's Ministry...
I sent it at 12:04 am... Wednesday.

While browsing for ideas I decided to go check out my favorite blog
The Pioneer Woman...

Pdub...
She is funny.
and she can cook.

guess what?
I like to cook her recipes.
and read her hilariousness (is that a word?)
anyway...

I tried this yummy goodness

Well, I do.

anyway... back to the food.

before the tomatoes...

before the chicken...
(and for you veges out there... including my 9 yr old...I added vegetarian scallops)

after the chicken... can you say yummy?

and just because pdub inspired me...
I also made this...

banana chip bread

sage bread... from scratch...
I used my mixer...

So anyway...
Pdub happened to be offering a weekend getaway...

4 people will be chosen...
She will fly them to Oklahoma...
they will stay in the lodge...
and pdub will teach them how to cook...

I entered.
Tomorrow she will announce the winner...

only 33K people put their name in the mix... I was in the 30,000's...
My chances are not looking great...
but wowie how awesome would it be to meet her & her fam... and have her teach me cooking tips???

So if I am not around the first weekend in December I am probably in Oklahoma...
