Tonight we had our 16th meeting... 16!!!!
I seriously can't believe that.

1. It means we obviously like each other...
2. It means we like to read...
3. It means we like to eat...
4. It means we like to talk...
5. It means we like a night out with the "girls"
(and no Melissa we are not referring to "the girls")

I left my camera at home, but Jenny saved the day.
bummer though... I don't have any of the photos yet.

But I will just give you all a clue.

It was Derby night.
Oh yeah, pearls, hats, dresses, scarves....
We rocked the costumes.
and boy howdy can Karis cook!

Anyway, if you don't belong to a book club...
you need to start one.
gather some people who like to read...
you don't even have to know everyone...
but a group larger than 10 is hard to manage...
get a bossy person (that is me in our club)
schedule & set up rules...
and then let it roll!
We even have a scrapbook... and are in the makings of a club cookbook with all the recipes from the themed food we made at our meetings!

You will be thankful everyday.

Even if the book isn't your favorite.
The friendships you will make will change your life.
and the food will expand your waistline...
