Pioneer Woman - Lisa & Suzanne Style

Photobucket
Photobucket

Okay... so this is how we do it...

1. Go online and click here: thepioneerwoman.com

2. Browse the millions of yummy, mouth-watering recipes for the perfect one

3. Grab a cute apron & put it on...

4. Cooking with a bff makes things a LOT more fun :)

5. Take crazy pictures along the way so you never forget how crazy you are... and how yummy the food is... this may also be important for later when you are needing a "before" picture of how you want to look. I am only saying this as a warning - because trust me on this one, PW's recipes are not low fat :)

Here are some samples of the "yummies" that Lisa & I whipped up while on vaca.

The Asian Salad.. um yum... this was not a hit with the boys, but all the girls loved it!
Photobucket
Pasta Primavera... I don't really need to say more, this is delish!
and just because we can...
Photobucket
the FAMOUS, FABULOUS, Cinnamon Rolls! These are to DIE for!

Just to "keep things real"

a small corner of the mess we made.

Missing my friend today. Missing all the crazy memories we make.

Summer

Photobucket
Wow... life has been crazy busy... but SO full of blessings!

So many things to share and photos to upload...
But for now just a short update before I jump in the shower.
Basketball Camp this week for my hubby so he is busy teaching 5-15yr olds the joy of the sport... my girls all woke up this morning and could barely move "my legs hurt mom!"

At night VBS - last night 170 kids... 170 kids! OH MY GOODNESS! My feet were so tired when I got home last night. So many people to organize and talk with... so many wonderful volunteers to run an amazing program for the kids of our area. We are truly blessed!

To start off the summer I was able to spend 2 weeks with my bff Lisa in California... just what my super tired soul needed. Updates to come from that later :) All I can say is thank goodness for good friends and sunshine!

On a side note, I decided to stay home next year and only substitute teach... I had the opportunity to work part time 3 days a week... but after much prayer and talking in family meetings we decided that the best course of action was to stay with my little man and run a well oiled home... My kids want me here and so does my hubby. So subbing for now and PT or FT work a few years down the road...

I miss you all my blogging friends. Now that things have slowed down for me I am longing to rejoin the blogging world. I have reduced my time on fb... it is a little too much for me.

If any of you are still out there thanks for checking in! Chat with you soon!
