Here is what is happening here.
McKenna has really impressed me with her hustle, determination, and drive. Last night she took a shot to the face... came back in the game and scored her second goal of the season.

The sideline crew cheering their team on.

Emma not afraid to get into the game... even with the big boys! The girl has been on fire... scoring the only goal last night... and the only goal tonight. She never gives up... encourages her teammates... and has fun win or lose.
1. Soccer.
2 Nights a week... from 3pm until 7:30 at least.
Rain or shine.
2. Working Out... 4 days a week.
I am exhausted but my muscles are starting to feel tighter...
and I am not gonna lie....
I like it. Going with friends has made all the difference.
3. Subbing.... a blessing.
It is helping to pay some extra bills (think medical)
4. Little annoyances.
Why do I let things get to me??? Seriously. Do the little things really matter in the long run? Why do I care so much. Why is it difficult to let things go? I have been STRUGGLING with this big time. Comments from others, things that don't go the way I think they should, people not acting the way I think they should. Why do I care & why do I feel the need to control it? I am admitting that I have been a little bitter this week and it is not good. Please pray for me.
5. Jack first bus ride.

oh my goodness.
cutest thing ever.

he looked out the window all the way to TVJA.
Riding with the team

City of Roses... a buses view.
6. Lakers Lose. My Lakers are out of the playoffs. It is weird watching other teams and not have them be playing anymore... but it makes me look forward to next season. Happy Summer Lakers.
7. Pathfinders.
The last club night meeting was last night. Investiture Friday. Volunteer work with my unit on Sabbath, packing food for the food drive. Pathfinder Fair all day Sunday. I am tired just thinking about it.
So... that is what's up.
Life.
It just keeps moving and I am trying to keep up.

Hanging out on the sidelines of Jake's soccer games are some of my all time favorite memories of him in school. It's where I've made the friends I have in this community for the most part. I'm thankful and am sad that my younger two are showing no interest so far.
I've been struggling with 'the little things' lately too. I wonder if it's just that we're all ready for a good dose of Vitamin D! Bring on some sustained sunshine!!
I just have to say again - I love love love this new song you have playing first. It gives me goosebumps and an urge to go sit down at the piano. Awesome song.
