Mom's Day.

Today was Mother's Day.

My family spoiled me with lots of love.

There were no trips, big gifts, breakfast or dinner out... but instead we had piles of cards, notes, and handmade gifts made with love.

We spent the entire day together, watched the Lakers lose (the low point)
spoke with loved ones, played games, and hung out.

In one word... awesome. :)

And in bright news... the weather is going to be sunny this week!

Tonight after weeks and months (like 4) of listening to my Sydney...

I did this.

She is precious.

She will be 8 years old in 13 days.

She is my baby girl.

The one that keeps me in stitches day in and out.

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day.  I hope that you felt loved and appreciated.

Dear Mom,
I love you.  Thank you for giving me life.  Thank you for putting up with me when I was a pre-teen and teen years.  Thank you for all the care packages through the years, phone calls, words of affirmation, and all the unconditional love you share with me and my family.  You are the best.  I appreciate you and I love you more than you know.  I can't wait for you to get back home!

My Mother's Day was like that too. Spent the whole day together. It was nice just being home.
