Everyone looks the same.
Okay not really, but it's weird how it seems like no one really changes!
I went to college with the majority of his class so I knew quite a few of the people there.
Only about 30 people came (some are not pictured) out of a class of 91 students.
I thought that was a pretty lame turnout for a 20 year. Is this normal?

The class of 1991.
It is at this moment I would like to publicly thank God for placing Josh in my path and not someone else. Nothing like a High School reunion to make you even more thankful for your spouse!!!
Josh was able to connect with Ken one of his best friends
and we went to dinner and the kids played with his son, Kobe, who is named after Kobe Bryant! :) His wife's name is Suzette, and she is a native Hawaiian who has only lived stateside for 3 years. She was a total sweetheart & I was thankful to get to meet their entire family.
his shirt is of California with KB 24.
(I loved this & I want one for all my kids!)
anyway...
after a long day of talking (which bored the kids to tears...)
it was time for the alumni basketball game.
they do things differently at Auburn... they play a round robin and then they pick the best players to play against the Academy team....

you know that I am partial to my man...
after playing 1 hour (2 games) they asked him to play against the kids..
He politely declined as we had to drive home (not to arrive until 2 am)
But I was thinking... everyone else was from like 5yrs alumni or younger. Josh was running circles around them. I was thinking "Luckiest woman in the gym!"
Anyway, a final note.
Ken is more of a shoe lover than Josh. I was stunned.
But according to Suzette, Ken actually has 100 pairs of shoes at least, and some of them he takes out of the box to try on and puts them back in the box. He never actually wears them. He is a collector of limited edition shoes. I guess Josh's 26 pairs weren't that bad after all!

My 20 year is in October. I really can't believe how fast 20 years can go.
I am thankful for Christian Education. For parents who sacrifice to send their kids to private school. I look at our lives and think how lucky Josh & I were... and how lucky our kids are. What a gift.
Sidenote:
1. I have now exercised 3 times in the past week.
2. I watched the Royal Wedding, I am a sucker for that kind of stuff.
3. I spent hours working on the Knot Honor for Pathfinders.
4. I am caught up in the NBA Playoffs! Go Lakers!
5. I have been insanely busy... story of my life.
6. I am horrified at what people are dealing with in the south with all the tornadoes... and am actually glad to live in the NW where tornadoes are not really a threat.
7. Mixed emotions on OBLaden. Happy that a door is closed, but know that potentially the war on terror could get worse... and I strongly dislike O's use of "I" in his speech. How about giving ALL the credit to the men and women who sacrifice their lives so I can sleep safely at night? Instead of telling the world how great he is. (sorry for going political... I never usually do that.)
8. Laura Story's new song "Blessings"... Love it, and I am seeing a Josh & Sam duet in the future. Gonna look at sheet music.
love you all.

Awesome job on the exercise! What's your favorite type? I've always thought that reunions were a fascinating social experiment. I didn't finish high school so I will never know how it would feel to attend my own. I'll go to Steven's 30th with him next year tho. I think it'd be more fun to get a glimpse of my honey's past than attend my own anyways. I'm glad you guys had a good time. As for your new song - Blessings - LOVE IT!! Thanks for sharing!
