God blessed us with some gorgeous sunshine and made my day!
Since I have been blessed with so many beautiful girls...
they ran at 9 am, 10 am, 11am, and then 1pm.
Pretty much my entire day was spent cheering the mile run.
McKenna was the first to run... and she brought in the fastest time for the day. 7:36... she would kick my bootie that is for sure!

Sydney came next running in 8:24

who is that woman cheering my Syd on??? Janet you have been caught :)
Leah & Sydney

Leah (Syd's friend) ran 7:12. Wow! That is fast!
Sam came next and she ran a 7:41

(Sam's Buds)

after a brief lunch break with Judy at Battleground Old Town Coffee... yum
It was time for Emma to run her mile... at 7:37

emma fell behind her friend Mariah on the last lap...
and somehow dug deep

to finish strong and pass her at the end!
So proud of all my girls. They ran their hearts out. Cheered their friends on. Were not discouraged.
I think they may take some comfort in knowing that they would cream their mother by 2 minutes at least!
Oh I almost forgot.

the little man was there cheering his sisters on... and all the soccer players whose names he knows.
I was super thankful and enjoyed the sunshine this year... as it rained the last 2 years...
until Friday night when I realized I had myself a pretty good burn. :(
I guess I am just not used to sunshine anymore.
