a visit with the our 2nd family

a few days ago our dear friends and 2nd family came out to visit...


and that means the boys aka men will hike the mountain.

the video from the almost top of the mountian... you can see forever from up there they say... I haven't made the trip up yet... I guess the terrain is pretty tough and lots of rocks go flying... in fact Chip took one to the face while they hiked up... pretty crazy stuff!



new years eve... staying up way too late LOL hysterically.
in fact not sure when it is that I last laughed as hard as we did that night!

but no worries... the kids were up bright and early to swim and play...
of course Jack was all over Auntie lisa and Brett, or as Jack calls him "Uncle Brett"


and this is how 4 year olds try to find their dad on the mountain...

I think he is looking straight up at the sky...
I know this for sure, he is NOT looking anywhere near the boys...

oh... and I almost forgot..
we ate this yumminess for breakfast...
