2 months ago there was a sign up for a field trip to go to a play with Sydney and her class... unfortunately there are many overachieving wonderful moms in her room...
and only the first 5 got to go.
I was number 9.
Yeah there was a big L on my forehead.
yesterday my phone rings
"hello"
"do you want to work tomorrow... for Julie... and go on the field trip?"
"um, yeah... no brainer!"
So lucky me...
I took Sam to the orthodontist at 7:30am...
headed to the school with the rest of the kids...
and got to sub in the same classroom that I did my long term sub job last spring.
go on the super awesome field trip...
with my Sydney...

Janet & I reunited for the day... well until Children's Church... VBS... well you get the picture...
my and my precious girl...
didn't get to sit with her as she was in a different group...
I was lucky enough to have 3 of my favorite boys!

Fly was my fav... ant 2nd...
they were awesome...
So today I was loving spending the day with 20 awesome kids...
the sunshine...
the unexpected blessing of getting paid to do what I would have paid to do...
and then to top it off...
a home basketball game...
a nail biter...
we were down but came back and won.
team effort all the way.
I was proud of all 10 of our girls...
and especially proud of my daughter who played her best game to date...
and left it all on the court!
A FABULOUS DAY.
