Now I Lay Me...

It's Friday which means early bedtime for the entire family!!!

Sam is gone to the GET REAL spiritual retreat for 7th and 8th graders...

I miss her... especially when I was rifling through papers on my desk
(if you have seen my desk you understand the use of the word rifle...)
and the reason why I am never on time with anything...

anyway I found this...

a little surprise note that Sam wrote on McKenna's Tuesday note...
let us not mention it was from last week...

you don't expect me to keep up with everything do you???

God is so good at reminding us to be like a child...
look at that peace and sweet innocence.
I especially love the touch of the ski hat... you know how i love to accessorize!
and yes... those are indeed duck pj's... all the kids got a pair at Christmas!

anyway... that sweet little man also set up guards outside the bedroom door...
never fear, Buzz & Woody are here to protect you from harm...
