These are the very best kind of day because...
1. They typically involve coffee.
2. There might be shopping involved.
3. Food is usually included somehow.
4. And they are usually shared with a "bestie" aka a girlfriend/good friend etc.
Today Lisa and I met halfway in the middle (aka "the inland empire")
for a "girl day"... which meant we each drove 1 hour and 30 minutes to see each other.
It is our last chance to see each other for who knows how long.
We met up at Victoria Gardens which is an AMAZING place for hmmm... let's see..
1. coffee
2. food
3. shopping
4. people watching
5. chatting
Pretty much all of the criteria we had...
Anyway, I won't bore you with details... just a few photos and this thought.
"I am thankful for true friends."

She is one of them...
and I truly hate to admit this...
but the older we get the crazier we get...
and I know you will be shocked by this...
we find ourselves hilariously funny...
I know unbelievable huh?

I am certain that in yesterday's post I mentioned something about being thankful that I did not discover the wonder of yogurt until yesterday or it would become a problem...
yeah... 2nd day in a row...
and who knows how many days in a row of this...

I am referring to my jacket, shirt, etc...
True friends love you even when you wear the same (clean) clothes over and over again...
I believe I mentioned something about packing in a 21 inch carry on for this 1 month vaca.... my clothes are likely to repeat themselves... and I only have one lightweight jacket... just saying.
I found it fitting that after our hours of walking around and not really buying anything... (I can't fit anything in my suitcase...and I would need a nice budget...) we ended the night on this note...
and it was fabulous I might add...
and apparently because of my outfit repeating "duck clothes" ways...

Duck Vanilla Lattes...
too bad I don't believe in signs...
I just like the colors that's all.. :)
1.5 hours home...
kissed and hugged my babies...
thanked mom #1 and mom #2
a little reading time... and sleeping with Jack next to me... and very thankful to have some "girl time"...
p.s. FLS girls. Since we really don't discuss our "lights" outside of a meeting you will be impressed to hear my story on Wednesday about my trip to VS... okay it's not that impressive but funny it is... I will have you know I thought of you all today!
