table for 10 anyone?
Vegetarian Stew... fresh grapes... a beautiful selection of artisan breads... Martinelli's... pomegranite & feta salad! (yum!)... and cheese! I felt like I was on the pages of the book!

Our lovely hostess was Janelle (3rd from left) Her book selection was "Pope Joan" and everyone {loved} it. Funny thing is none of us had even heard of it... and probably would not have picked it up... this is just one of the reasons to love book club... you read things you probably never would have in this lifetime!
So... Melissa is the selector for the next book... and can I just say "she is STINKIN hilarious!"
because ta-da she yanks this book out of her bag... and all of our jaws drop...
"NO TIME FOR SEX"
We all had open mouths and none of us made a sound... I am not sure what was running through everyone's mind... but surely it was "that will make for interesting conversation" and "only Melissa would be that brave" & "my hubby will like this"
Finally, I spoke "That wasn't what you said you were thinking!"....
and she replied.... "you're right (as she reaches in her bag....)
and yanks out the new Dan Brown novel... everyone cheered (except Shelly who just read it...bummer!) Looking forward to the party Melissa is going to throw in a month...
Expect the Unexpected... that is for sure! :)
