A visit from Lisa!

One of my favorite things in the ENTIRE world is when my dearest friend Lisa & I get together... we were both feeling stressed and crazed in the business of life... so Lisa said "It is time I booked a ticket and I am coming up!!!" Music to my ears!
Slogans that we have used in past years "beyond fabulous" "dude" and more... this year it is all about "Best Ninjas Foever" "GO to the FRO" and "Is there NO limit to our Awesomeness?" Let me just clarify that there is some sort of hidden meaning behind everything that makes us LOL!
Photobucket This trip Lisa brought me new pj's and they are matching with hers... so we just had to wear them while watching the Proposal... and can I just say that movie was LOL hilarious??? I LOVED every minute, I think I will watch it again tonight! I had 2 new coffee mugs for her that I had been saving for months... one was a matching one... reminds us of each other when we are apart... and the other was one that the girls and I decorated for her. :)

Every time the girls get Aunt Lisa in their sights it is "please draw me this picture..." or "is it my turn to play with your iphone?" This visit was no exception... the girls had Lisa drawing pictures for them the minute she got here! :)

Jack was {loving} on Aunt Lisa the whole time and wanted to get on the plane with her to Cali. His new fav past time with her... drinking chocolate milk at Starbucks...

Okay I am not sure if I should even confess this... but on Monday we went downtown to hit Powells Books.. and um yeah I drove around for 1 hour and some looking for a good place to park, yeah I was in the beast and most of the parking garages are too scary for me... I should have taken the Honda. So after driving around all the cool stores... and Powell's... I found a spot on the street we got out (I walked into a sign...) and we ate lunch at one of our fav restaurants Pastini Pasta... yum. I had the BEST tomato basil soup ever! wow! We got back in the car and left the city... I am so lame!

The girls had a "skate" party on Sunday so Lisa and I headed over there to watch them... I didn't realize that people still skated. Pure Craziness and my girls were complaining about being sore for the next 3 days... but they all think they need skates for Christmas now! :)

I love this photo of my friend...

Usually Lisa brings the snow... not this time but we did make her get out in the elements and of course she didn't bring the proper attire... SO I bundled her up in... you guessed it Duck Gear!

At Sabbath school... I had to assist so the little man got to hang with Lis... he loved it!

okay... so we are total dorks... but that is what makes life so fun and simple with Lisa. She also has a set of these mugs so when I visit her we use them for our vanilla lattes. So fun to make and drink with a friend... and so boring and sad to drink on your own.

My final shot of my ninja friend... she is looking "beyond fabulous" in her new outfit from the Rack... She inspires me to be a better person. She allows me to be me... no strings attached... NO DRAMA... she loves my family... she loves me for me... she is a fantastic wife and mother... I love talking with her and sharing the "normal, boring, blah" and the "fantastic, yippee, fabulous" parts of life. I miss you my friend... The next time you see me... well you know what I mean!
