school beginning, Sam's baptism, Jack blanket surfing...
BUT...
I can't let another day go by without some photos from our "brief" adventure at Honeyman State Park in Florence, OR. I remember going here as a child and what fun it was to run up and down the dunes...
Let's just say they are bigger now than they used to be... or I am a little bit more out of shape. ;)

this is the second part of the hill...
Nona & I were huffing and puffing & breaking along the way!
The kids & Josh pretty much ran up the hill!

and down & up... a few times before we made it to the top!

the kids and Josh in front of the lake... before climbing up...
the cool thing about this park is that the dunes just run right into the water... so you can climb and run straight in if you like...

you can do it Nona!

Sydney taking a break before running down the hill again.

I know that I am super partial... but is this little man a stud or what?
Seriously just seeing this picture makes me smile!

sizing up the hill...
trust me this is much larger in real life...

Josh and I at the top of the hill...

when we were dating and only 20 years old we came here... and took a shot similar to this...
I think the only difference is the 20 extra pounds on my body.... just keeping it real.... we certainly can't have aged at all in 17+ years :)

and all these years later and we still {LOVE} each other!
ahhh :)

Nona and her grandkids!

step one in getting a family photo... notice I am not there...

so many blessings in just this one photo...
trying to get the perfect shot.. if there is such a thing!

and they're out of here... those family photos are for the birds!
run... before she makes us take more!

"Run Forrest Run.." wait that is from a movie.?.
"Come Back kids... I only wanted one more photo!"

"wait!!!" "Please I beg you... you are squinting in the photo... one more..."

and we all know how this ends right?
there is NO way that I am catching them...

Hey, that looks like great fun. I love the grass in the sand. What a beautiful place.
