Cozying a new one...

So Thursday afternoon (last Thursday) I get a call from my dear friend Janeen asking me what we are doing for the weekend? I said well nothing I am working Friday & Monday but the weekend looks clear...

Her hubby, Matt, is a pilot, this means they can jump on any plane and fly up here free... so guess how lucky we were? Friday night brought in our friends the Little's & their 3 kiddos, Emma, Daniel, & Amy. Did I mention that Amy is only 2.5 wks old? :) You know how much I LOVE babies! :)

So the weekend looks like this... hanging out with friends, looking at scrapbooking stuff & talking technic, I even got Janeen to do a page using my stuff... and it was SUPER cute! On Sunday the big boys & little boys went to the air museum & checked out the Spruce Goose... this was a huge hit with the little boys & one big boy in particular... the pilot of course! :)

It is at times like these that I really miss California... because so many REAL friendships were made... friendships that are there in good and bad times... I don't know what it is exactly about the move north... lots of superficial friendships, but not a lot of deep lifelong friendships if you know what I mean. (except for you Jen... and your fam!) There is still time for that though.... we don't plan on going anywhere for a long time, we LOVE the area, schools, & the people are great... just not our so cal friends for sure.

Anyway, my point... I miss my friendships and SO cherish the moments when I get to connect with dear friends. Thanks Matt & Janeen for coming up here... and hello how did I not take a photo shoot of Amy like I did for Daniel? I am checking for some other pictures to share... I think I must have one of the two of us somewhere.
