{perspective}

While one would think that I would be [sick] about Dennis Dixon's game ending injury... and the ducks subsequent loss to Arizona last night... I actually could not sleep because my heart & mind were busy thinking and praying for the Kalberg family in California. The game was just that... a game. It is a crazy thing {Perspective} I am continually reminded of my BLESSINGS, how fragile life is, how GOOD people are, and how we can be easily distracted from what is really important. Nothing like {perspective} to make you sit down and look at your life to see what truly matters. Erik has been given grim news of his cancer, he has two precious little girls and a wonderful wife. They don't know how long he has left to live but they have {HOPE} because of Jesus. No matter what happens they have that. I ask that you please keep this family in your prayers, miracles can happen... even when it looks like it is impossible. Let us remember the things that are truly important in life, our FAITH, FAMILY, & FRIENDS.
