Baby Jaden

Years ago I met a boy.

We dated.

We had pre-marital counseling.

We decided 3 maybe 4 kids.

Now 1 month shy of 17 years... of marriage that is...

20 that we have known each other...

We have 5 kids of our own.. and hundreds of "adopted" kids.

This is our newest "adopted" kid

He is 2 days old.  I love him already!

I signed up to bring dinner to their house tonight...

Yes it really was an excuse to get over there asap and love on that boy.

The kids were all super excited...

Jack had been packing "his old baby toys" for Jaden...

and was super excited when he realized Jaden had come out of the tummy!

even though she is an old pro at holding babies... she was a little apprehensive to hold this little guy... but with a little encouragement we couldn't get the grin off her face!

This is a little scary actually... that is a lot of kids!

Anyway, a beautiful baby boy for a fantastic family.  Super happy for them... and super happy that we were able to get over there to welcome Jaden!

In other news...
Life has been crazy, BUSY.
I have been sick...
I worked everyday last week.
Children's Church.
Benefit Concert.
BLYC teen retreat.
Another sad funeral (that made me cry)
End of season soccer party. (at my house)
Basketball tryouts.
and LOTS of laundry.

I really hope I can make time to update you on a few of those events... because some of them are worth sharing... the laundry is most noteable I believe...  I hope that this Thanksgiving season is reminding you of all the things you have to be thankful for.  I know that I am daily focusing on things that are a blessing in my life.

One I will mention here... okay two.  Thank you Janet for helping with the Christmas Program... and thank Mcgyver again for fixing my light with your hand me downs!  It is so nice to be able to see again!
