Toy Story Mania...

Buzz Light Year.... Woody... T REX... Wheezy... Prospector...

Just a few of the names running around in my little man's head.

For the last 3 years we have been surrounded by "CARS" and it is a little funny when I watched Toy Story the first time Andy switched from being obsessed with Woody to all things space and Buzz. This is what is happening right now in my house. Jack is shifting gears on us... and the girls are in on it...the Car sheets are in the closet... the Buzz Lightyear sheets are on the bed... I don't know about you but I can't even walk down the toy aisle because there are 3... yes 3 rows of Toy Story 3 toys! What is a mom to do?

Things didn't get any better when we were in Cali... every year on graduation weekend at NPAA the Junior class decorates the cafe for the Senior Class Night reception... they choose a theme.... keep it quiet & surprise the Seniors....

I am sure that you probably guessed the theme... um yeah... Toy Story

as we entered the cafe... a life size bed above the entry...

Pizza Planet... where we got our food.
the Junior class actually built solid walls to divide the cafe into 3 rooms... the bedroom, with larger than life size furniture, Pizza Planet, and a room that was showing TS on a HUGE screen that filled an entire room (Jack pretty much did not leave this room)

WOODY? Oh my... Jack is freaking right about now he is so excited!

This was a high point for jack...(on a scary note... I remembered when "Woody" wasn't even in school, was 2 years old running around at his sister's PT conference. I am officially old.

the chest of soldiers... kids were dressed as all the toys from the movie... it was very cool.
(on another note... they guy guarding the chest is one of Josh's former students- he is currently teaching at the school... did you see my previous mentioning of "old"?

Last but definitely NOT least...
work-out Barbie....

Jack is in love... what boy wouldn't be?

This is Logan's girlfriend... (did I mention I volunteered in her Kindergarten class.. she is now a Senior.... hello "old") anyway... 2 days after this event we were watching the Laker/Celtics basketball game...
Jack was sitting on her lap, looked up at her and said (and I quote...)
"Wanna See My Moves?"
We all looked at each other as we picked our chins up off the floor...
First of all, what 3.5 year old says that?
Second... we all turned to Logan and said "Watch out buddy, you've got some competition for your girl! :)
THEN... we found out he just wanted her to see his new breakdancing moves....
So we had to all head downstairs and watch the little man break dance to TobyMac "Somebody's Watching Me"
Someday when I can figure out how I will post the video that is stuck on my phone,
it is STINKIN adorable!

Anyway... for now we are surrounded by Toy Story 1 & Toy Story 2... who knows how long it will last, but we will enjoy the break from Cars... at least until we get sick of Toy Story :)
