Birthday Bowling!

Okay so my birthday (LAST WEEK 3/26) goes like this:

laze around in the morning... get up to fresh ground coffee.
get myself ready for my day... I am 36!!

We head to Big Al's which is this totally cool bowling alley...
and play a game...
I don't do so well...
In fact out of the 6 of us playing...
I am number 5, by 6 points.
You could say it wasn't my best showing!

Head over to Red Robin... my choice of course
Share a stack of onion rings, my mouth just started to salivate...
A teriyaki chicken jerk burger for me... yummy
the kids all got balloons! Jack loved this.

We walked across the parking lot to Borders where we explored the bookshelves, & wrote down our favorites (so we could check them out at the library)
When we walked in the door Sam said,
"I just love the smell of bookstores."
She is more like me than I know, but I am learning every day.

We get in the car to head home and I decide that I will call and schedule a hair appt. We all know how much I need new color and a fresh cut!!!
Just my luck they had an opening in 20 minutes... so we zipped home...
and I zipped off with McKenna to get a haircut & color.
I love it... I will share pictures later.

The evening was spent together in worship and then...
tv time & hanging out...(couldn't find the movie I wanted)
bed...

A day older and hopefully a year wiser,
mostly {thankful} for another day of my wonderful life...
