My dear sweet hubby sliding into second base... this is just seconds after he was hit in the face with a softball... he is actually knocked out in this shot. This isn't the clearest picture but it is amazing because someone from the opposing team actually took this and sent it to me... and they didn't know that Josh would be taking one to the face! Weird!
Anyway, he got a concussion, some loose teeth, and some stitches on his lip... (that is proving to be quite painful in the days following the accident) and of course lots of blood as it was a facial wound. But we are [thankful] that it wasn't worse. God is good!
Josh can't even remember any of this and is a little hazy on other parts of the day.

What in the world???? WHOA so glad he is ok!!!! Jeez Josh, they don't mean 'take on for the team' quite that literally.
