1.a {HUGE} thank you to my parents for planting our garden this year. Dad tilled up the ground and while I was dropping of Sam at camp... mom & dad planted us a wonderful garden... which we have been thoroughly enjoying. Of course I must add there are a ton of grass starts and weeds this year... but we are hopeful with tilling it this fall and again in the spring will help with that for next year. Even with the grass & weeds, we are harvesting a great amount of produce.2.the property also has a number of fruit trees which we are just starting to enjoy... the girls have been picking apples the last few days, and I am looking forward to making some applesauce this next week!
