We were {blessed}

Rundown on the Sabbath for the Mac Pack...

Up early to get the troops to Sabbath School on time...

It is {SNOWING} and sticking! Yeah for us!

We enjoy Sabbath School... and then we head up to the Fellowship Hall for a wonderful Children's Church Program where we learned the Fruit of the Spirit {PEACE} Josh helped with bass guitar, Sam helped lead with songs of praise, & besides coordinating... I got to argue in Janet's skit... and best of all my AMAZING team pulled off a great program. (thank you all!!!) Oh yeah... Micah (3) and Brady (2) sang "Away in a Manger" and they showed it on a LIVE feed in the main sanctuary!!!

After Church off to Eric & Jenny Ermshars for a Children's Ministry (CM) team potluck where we fellowshipped and then mapped out our plan for the afternoon... the {BEST} part of our day coming up! The Donaldson's organized an afternoon of outreach to people in our community. First we went to a homeless shelter in downtown Vancouver where we handed out witness bags, some with food, some with hats, gloves, and socks that CM had put together. I had also purchased some coats at walmart, and we were able to give some of those as well. I mostly stayed in the car because I had a few nervous kiddos... but I was able to give two coats away!

Emma was a big helper with her daddy and when we left she kept saying "that was SO fun I want to do it again, except mom we need more hats and gloves because that is what they really want because they are SO cold" Besides the witness bags each of our families were able to put together food boxes and boxes of clothing for families that Brent came in contact with while working (he is a police officer) We did our family first as we had other plans in the evening. We had a family of 9 living in a very small home with NO heat and NO beds. They were SO thankful... people let me tell you {GIVING} is such a blessing and SO much better than receiving! the CM team {emily} had also purchased tons of Christmas gifts and we had wrapped everything even the food boxes with pretty paper. We plan to go back and give them some clothes as well... there was a 4 month old baby and 3 & 4 year old little girls and a 12 year old girl. They had nothing. After this we went to an apartment next and the mother was in tears she was so overcome. Unfortunately we had to leave at this point.

the rest of the night... spent at a wonderful Christmas party for Josh and the teachers/staff of Meadow Glade. This was also a Blessing... and let me tell you... I was [Thankful] for the warm home and good friends.

What a busy, event filled day... every moment a true blessing! I was feeling my cup overflowing that day too!
