how sad...

How sad is it that I have been too busy to even post on my blog?
Seriously... has it been since August 30? ugh.

Today is my precious McKenna Hope's 8th birthday. I can't believe it. Where did the time go? I think I took a long blink and she grew up. Tonight she rode her bike for the first time without training wheels... been too scared to even try... and this weekend at Sunriver we really pumped her up and she was ready to go tonight when we got home.

Josh & Sam are at Big Lake for outdoor school... I am working for him... aka PE teacher... and Jack is hanging out with his friends having play dates... the other girls are going to school.

We are having AMAZING warm/hot weather, an indian summer for sure! I LOVE it!

Book club and Bible Study are in full swing.

My friend Tina is coming to visit me for the weekend... :) Can't wait! There will certainly be photos of that blessed event to come! I mean it this time!

I decided that my blog is like scrapbooking... do what is current... you will never catch up so just go with what is happening in your life at the moment. that reminds me... I want to scrapbook as well... life is certainly getting busy.

Did I mention that I am doing children's church again? God is certainly good and He has placed me back doing some stuff that I love! :)

Frankly, does anyone even look here anymore... with the onset of facebook it seems we all connect there somehow. I miss blogging though, it is a way to share with my close friends... but mostly a way to journal the events of my life. (I am totally rambling here...)

Just had to share one of my favorite photos from the summer... didn't have time to enlarge it at photobucket... but you get the idea. These five kiddos give meaning to the word "life" I thank God daily for them!

toodles for now... I am off to finish my book club selection for the month... POPE JOAN, wouldn't have picked it up myself... but i am loving it! Just one of many reasons why I love book club!
